JANUARY 14, 2012 SESSION IS CLOSED TO ACCEPTING NEW REGISTRATIONS

NO REFUNDS, FOR THE JANUARY 14, 2012 SESSION WILL BE GIVEN AFTER JANUARY 14, 2012 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEPT AS NOTED BELOW

This is a learn-to-swim program run under American Red Cross, Learn-To-Swim Levels 1-6 of the new curriculum. There will be a WSI (Water Safety Instructor) instructing this program. Children are introduced to personal safety and basic water skill appropriate to their level of experience. This class promotes confidence in the beginner and emphasizes safety. Adults do not have to accompany the child in the pool but are required to be at pool side during the lesson. Make up lessons are not available.

Children will be screened on the first day of class to assess the appropriateness of the instructional and safety levels. It may be deemed that your child is not appropriate for this class based on skills or cognitive ability; in such cases a refund will be given. This is the only situation, for the January 14, 2012 session, that a refund will be issued after January 13, 2012.

Sessions will be coordinated by ability level.

• Fee - $55.00 per child
• Due to the number of late registrations, we are forced to implement a $10.00 late registration fee if registration form and fee is not received by January 13, 2012. If you choose to register the first day of lessons, January 14, 2012, there may be a delay in placing your child in the appropriate level/group. We organize our classes and instructors prior to the first day of class. Your swimmer will be placed in a level/ group as quickly as possible as an instructor becomes available to assist you.
• Location: RCS High School Aquatic Facility
• Water Safety Instructor(WSI): Dave Burns
• Assistant Instructors will be Certified WSI / WSI Aides

• Will run for seven weeks

• Times will be from:
  • 4:00pm - 4:40pm LEVEL 1, N1 AND S1
  • 4:45pm - 5:25pm LEVEL 2 AND 3
  • 5:30pm - 6:10pm LEVEL 4, 5, PC
